Browsing and search
OpenTV organizes your content into Live, Movies and Series, using the categories your provider supplies.
List and grid views
Switch between a compact list and a poster grid, and your choice is remembered. Movies and series default to a poster grid; live channels default to a list. Rows and posters show quality badges such as 4K, FHD and HDR when the stream advertises them.
Filter bar
A filter bar lets you narrow the current category, or the list of categories when you are at the top level. It is available throughout browsing so you can find a channel or title quickly.
Global search
Search runs across live channels, movies and series at once and returns items directly, using the same row components as browsing so everything looks and behaves the same. From a search result you can play immediately or open a detail page.
Favorites
Mark channels, movies and series as favorites. Favorites are keyed by a stable identity, so they survive playlist refreshes, and they live on their own screen with list and grid views and per-type sections.
Detail pages
Movies, series and individual episodes have rich detail pages with synopsis, rating, genre and runtime, and cast with photos. Metadata is fetched from keyless public sources, so no API key is required.
