OpenTV ships as an Android APK that you install yourself. There are two channels.
Latest release
The most recent tagged, stable version. This is the recommended build for daily use.
Download the latest release APK
The release channel points at the newest tagged version. If the link does not work yet, no version has been tagged. In that case use the dev channel below, or browse all releases.
Dev channel
Rebuilt automatically from the latest commit on the main branch. New features and fixes land here first, so it moves faster and may occasionally be rough.

Both published builds are signed with the same key, so you can move between them and install one over the other without uninstalling. The first time you switch from an older, differently signed build you may need a single uninstall. Installing in place is separate from data migration: an update that changes the catalog schema deliberately recreates the catalog database and loses catalog-backed state.
